Former Keralam chief secretary Jiji Thomson alleges Gyanesh Kumar suggested BJP ticket
Jiji Thomson, a former chief secretary, revealed that Gyanesh Kumar suggested he join the BJP. The proposal occurred during a flight to New Delhi in 2016. Kumar mentioned that Thomson could become a Union minister if elected. Thomson, however, declined the suggestion, expressing disinterest in politics. He has been approached by various political leaders in the past regarding electoral positions.
