Niger intelligence agents expelled from France in sign of diplomatic strain
Two Nigerien intelligence officers were forced to leave France last month, French daily Le Monde has revealed, with one agent suspected of monitoring opposition figures on French soil. It is the latest sign of the deterioration in relations between the two countries since Niger’s 2023 military coup.
