Man makes girlfriend drink acid under ‘suicide pact’ after marriage fixed elsewhere
A 23-year-old farmer named Banti Kumar was arrested for making his girlfriend, Pinki Devi, consume toilet-cleaning acid. Kumar reportedly pressured her into this act under the guise of a suicide pact. After realizing the severity of the situation, he fled, leaving her in pain. Pinki was later discovered and taken to a hospital where her condition improved.
