Mali army and Russian fighters accused of killing dozens of civilians
Mali’s armed forces and Russian Wagner Group personnel committed war crimes including killings and torture of civilians during joint operations between 2023 and 2025, Amnesty International has said in a new report documenting abuses across several regions of the country.
