Eiffel Tower chief to leave after women sidelined during Hindu visit
Eiffel Tower director Patrick Branco Ruivo will step down at the end of the year, the tower’s operator has announced, after female staff were excluded during a visit by a Hindu religious group – an incident that triggered a strike that closed the Paris landmark for a day.
